Paul Windle opened his first salon in covent garden in 1988 after being a principle at the Vidal Sassoon School during the early eighties. His salon became synonymous with editorial and fashion hairdressing throughout the nineties, regularly featuring in Time Out, British Vogue, Elle, and Marie Claire.
Neil Moodie began his salon hairdressing career in 1984, making the transition to editorial session work in 1993. He has been at the top of the editorial arena since, working with photographers such as Mario Testino, with celebrities such as Drew Barrymore and Scarlett Johannsen, and for lables such as Armani, Burberry and Gucci.
Paul and Neil joined forces in 2010, renaming the salon Windle and Moodie. Here, they have continued to be recognised at the forefront of British hairdressing. Their combined knowledge and understanding of products has allowed them to create their own bespoke product line, which we are proud to stock here at Linton and Mac.
Paul Windle himself, joined us in the salon back in September! Bringing experienced stylists, Mia Efthymiou and Sergio Renis with him for their second visit to Linton and Mac.
Mia, who is head of product development at Windle and Moodie, gave us a great insight into all of the products which we use in the salon every day. Windle and Moodie products use mostly natural ingredients and are paraben and sulphate free. They are full of lovely oils and soothing tea extracts which are super kind to hair - bringing out the best in your barnett whilst still creating awesome hold and effect.
Sergio is one of Windle and Moodie's top salon stylists and talked us through trends, tricks, and top tips, using all Windle and Moodie products to create the desired effects.
We all had such a great day - who would have thought learning could be so much fun!
Prices start at £12.50 and all Windle and Moodie products are available in the salon NOW.
