Over 150 VIP guests arrived to a drinks reception showcasing a new gin from local distillery Esker Spirits, alongside a selection of brews from northeast giants BrewDog and local Deeside Brewery.

As guests arrived through the salon, they were welcomed to go "back-stage" with our in-house Art Team as models were finished, ready for the catwalk.

Looks took inspiration from the 1960's, with models wearing original pieces from vintage treasure trove, The Closet.

Jackie O's classic flicked up bouffant was reinvented - with a sexy Bardot inspired french roll getting a modern twist with exposed pins.

All Night Passion were on the decks, as models walked to revolutionary retro beats.

Over in the food and drinks area, 10 Dollar Shake showed how to make your very own Christmas Classic Dutch Eggnogg, whilst also demonstrating some vintage inspired festive cocktails.

Lecturers from Gray's School of Arts design department, shared their students work with guests and end of year fashion show.

Local restaurant Rye and Soda suggested food and wine pairings for your Christmas dinner.

And Netherkirkgate newbies Filthy Gorgeous and Mad Penguin served up fabulously filthy sliders alongside gorgeous gelato. Proving this is certainly one up and coming area in Aberdeen.

Aberdeen isn’t just some dreary city you ended up living in because you work in the oil industry anymore... this Granite City isn’t just grey - it’s a plethora of pink, with a whole lot of sparkle!
The Low Down Event, came about because we wanted to highlight some of that small business sparkle - and thanks to all of you, I think we have achieved that!
