Colour Consultation & Patch Test

New to colour at Linton & Mac? Start here. A colour consultation and patch test is the first thing to book, and it’s complimentary.

Why the consultation?
Your stylist needs to see your hair, hear what you’re hoping for, and talk through what can realistically be achieved, including the services needed to get you there.

Why the patch test?
A small dab of colour is applied behind your ear. If there’s no reaction after 48 hours, you’re clear to book your colour service.

We ask for the full 48 hours because allergic reactions can take that long to appear, and they can be serious.

Had your colour done elsewhere?
Even if it was with the same brand we use, we’ll still need to patch test you with us. It’s essential for every new colour client, with no exceptions.
